"The Divorce"

written and directed by Rob Parsons

"The Divorce" was Let Em Laugh's second full length feature film. A potty mouth movie for the entire family, over 18 years of age. The film was the closing gala of the 2014 Silverwave Film Festival and had the largest attendance ever for a closing gala, in the history of the festival.

The Divorce was produced by Elaine Shannon of Shannon Multi Media and Executive producer was Richard MacQueen.

The film starred Kyle Wills, the 2013 Saint John Idol winner, Gary Stackhouse who has been involved in music and radio for over 30 years, as well as Nelson Hum and Adriano Silva. Nelson has a rich radio background and also runs a major gaming tournament for Atlantic Canada with Adriano who is an instructor at NBCC Saint John.

The goal for Rob with The Divorce was to show off the beuty of Southern New Brunswick, while telling a story about four friends on a road trip from Saint John to Fredericton. Of course they never make it as they can't seem to stay focused on their goal.

Another goal of Robs was to show off the diversity and talent of as many musicans from the region as possible. The Divorce was scored by John Mclaggan of Tomato Tomato and had music contributed by "Whitewater Band" "Code of Silence" "Marissa Rignanesi" "Gary Stackhouse" "Phakt" and "The Playdates".
